The Wall of Honor, located in the New York State Police Academy in Albany, New York, honors troopers who have died in service to the residents of New York State.
Trooper Phillip E. Gonterman, 24, was killed instantly on September 25, 1925, when his motorcycle struck a tree at the intersection of Jefferson and Hubble Streets in the village of Pulaski.
Trooper Alexander E. Boehm died on November 13, 1924, at the age of 32, at the Central Hotel, following chest pains while riding through the village of Corinth.
