Trooper Amanda D. Anna, 31, died on May 26, 2012, as a result of injuries in a traffic accident.

Trooper Kevin P. Dobson, 43, was killed on March 26, 2011 on Interstate 290 in the town of Tonawanda, Erie County.

Trooper Covel C. Pierce, 60, died on March 10, 2011, as a result of brain cancer stemming from his assignment to the World Trade Center Site following the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.

Trooper Jill E. Mattice, 31, was killed on January 20, 2010 on State Route 23 in the town of Morris, Otsego County.

Trooper David J. Lane was killed on November 4, 2009 on State Route 32, in the town of Catskill, Greene County, while enforcing the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Trooper Shawn W. Snow was tragically electrocuted on August 3, 2008, in the city of Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County.

Trooper David C. Brinkerhoff, 29, died as a result of a gunshot wound on April 25, 2007.

Trooper Jose A. Rosado, 45, was killed in a two car accident on January 24, 2007, in the town of Southampton, Suffolk County.

Trooper Joseph A. Longobardo, 32, died on September 3, 2006, as a result of a gunshot wound.

Trooper John J. McKenna IV, 30, was killed by enemy sniper fire outside the Iraqi city of Fallujah on August 16, 2006.
