On July 23, 1935, Corporal John G. Lord was seriously injured his vehicle crashed into a traffic island on the Bronx River Parkway.

On June 3, 1935, Trooper Thomas C. Lynes, 25, was killed in a traffic accident on the River Road, north of Tivoli.

On October 10, 1934, Trooper Edward L. Cunningham was killed when the open touring car struck an abutment along the Wantagh Parkway near Jones Beach.

On August 23, 1934, Trooper George J. VanAntwerp, 30, died after his motorcycle collided with a car on the Albany-Crescent Road (present day Route 9 near Bought Corners).

On January 5, 1934, Trooper Raymond A. Plunkett, 27, died as a result of an accident on Kirkland Hill, south of Utica.

On October 13, 1933, Trooper Jerome B. Nugent, 25, died from a fractured skull after being thrown from his motorcycle on Forestville-Sheridan Road, Chautauqua County.

On August 13, 1933, Trooper Thomas L. Corbett died as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident on January 14, 1931 in the town of Caledonia, Livingston County.

On June 19, 1933, Sergeant Homer J. Harrison, 41, commander of the Castile area of Wyoming County, drown in Silver Lake when his small boat overturned.

On March 31, 1933, Sergeant Walter A. Purcell died when his neck was broken by the steering wheel of the open touring car he was driving on the Amsterdam-Scotia Road.
