2002: Modeled after the New York/New Jersey HIDTA, the State Police developed a central repository for the numerous databases used by law enforcement agencies across the state. The repository was created with the goal of providing “one stop shopping” for data stored in the multitude of files maintained publicly and privately by the law enforcement community.
