Trooper Scott P. Enser, 58, died on March 20, 2021, as a result of cancer stemming from his assignment to the World Trade Center site following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

Trooper Scott P. Enser, 58, died on March 20, 2021, as a result of cancer stemming from his assignment to the World Trade Center site following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. 

Following the events of 9/11, Trooper Enser was assigned to aid with the search and recovery efforts in New York City as part of the New York State Police Detail. 

Trooper Enser entered the State Police on October 2, 1989, and retired on October 6, 2009. 

He served the New York State Police for 20 years. 

Trooper Enser is survived by his mother and sister.
