On September 24, 2024, State Police members arrested Cynthia C. Busch, age 67, of Winterport, ME, for menacing 2nd and criminal possession of a weapon 4th.
On September 24, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Troopers responded to Lake Street in the village of Rouses Point for a menacing complaint. An investigation determined Busch presented a knife in a threatening manner during a verbal altercation regarding entering the store of the Stewart Shop.
Busch was arrested and transported to SP Champlain for processing. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Champlain Court, for a later date in October.
