On July 10, 2025, New York State Police at Whitney Point arrested David R, Keener, age 35 of Whitney Point, NY for the class “D” felony of Grand Larceny in the third degree.
In June, Troopers began an investigation that accused Keener of using a victim's business account at a local hardware store and making several unauthorized purchases.
The investigation revealed that during the months of May and June, Keener purchased over $5800 worth of tools without the victim’s permission.
Keener was located by Troopers on July 10 and arrested. He was processed at SP Whitney Point then turned over to the Broome County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
