UPDATED: Troopers Investigating a rollover tractor-trailer crash on NYS Thruway

On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at about 5:30 a.m., State Troopers responded to a rollover tractor-trailer crash on the NYS Thruway, I-287 eastbound, on the Exit 12 ramp to I-95 northbound in the town of Rye, Westchester County.  I-287 remains closed at the ramp, and eastbound traffic is being diverted to I-95 south. The closure will continue while crews remove the crashed vehicle and debris and repair the damaged guide rail.

Westchester County EMS transported the tractor-trailer driver to Stamford Hospital in Connecticut for treatment of minor injuries.  

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.

UPDATE: 

All lanes are now open including the Exit 12 diversion.
