On December 28, 2024, at approximately 6:04 a.m., Troopers out of the Thruway Kingston barracks responded 3 miles north of exit 19 southbound on Interstate 87 for a one-car motor vehicle collision in the town of Ulster.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2008 Honda was traveling south bound on Interstate 87, when it exited the roadway through the right shoulder for unknown reasons and subsequently struck a tree. The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle identified as Randolph E. Quintanilla Revolorio, age 21, of Nanuet, NY, was ejected from the vehicle. Quintanilla Revolorio ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

The operator and sole occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
