In the early morning hours of May 28, 2024, the Village of Monticello Police and the New York State Police responded to a report of a shooting outside a building in the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex in which Amy Redmond, age 48 of Smallwood, NY, and another male subject were struck by gunfire resulting in the death of Amy Redmond. The New York State Police is asking anyone with information on this incident to contact Investigators at the NYSP Liberty Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI )at 845-344-5300.
