The New York State Police in Waterloo, NY, have arrested two individuals in connection with a grand larceny incident that occurred at the Speedway Gas Station located at 703 Waterloo Geneva Road, Waterloo, Seneca County.
On February 16, 2025, at approximately 6:33 p.m., Troopers responded to a report of a larceny not in progress at the Speedway Gas Station. Store employees reported that two individuals fraudulently purchased $11,500 in gift cards using a fraudulent debit card. The suspects left the scene in a white Ford Expedition.
A BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert was issued to surrounding counties. Later that evening, at approximately 10:35 p.m., Troopers observed a white Ford Expedition matching the suspect vehicle description traveling on State Route 5 & 20 in Ontario County. A traffic stop was then conducted, during which the driver was identified as Marrion M. Simms, age 28, a Michigan resident with multiple fully extraditable warrants from Ohio, Missouri, and Pennsylvania. Another occupant was also identified: Deshon L. Davis, age 24, of Rochester, NY.
Troopers on the scene determined Simms and Davis to be the suspects involved in the Speedway larceny. Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the New York State Police barracks in Waterloo for processing.
