On July 7, 2026, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Nahiah S. Anderson, 21 of Buffalo, NY for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree, Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree and Resisting Arrest. Another 17-year-old suspect was arrested for Criminal Possession of a loaded Weapon 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree and Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree.
On July 7, 2026, 9:14 P.M., Troopers out of SP Clarence observed a 2011 Ford on Bailey Avenue in the city of Buffalo which was reported stolen from the city of Buffalo. Troopers attempted a traffic stop and subsequently the stolen vehicle began to flee. Two suspects jumped out of the stolen vehicle on Yonkers Avenue and fled on foot. Troopers with Buffalo Police Department located and arrested both suspects. The 17-year-old was in possession of a Ruger pistol.
Both suspects were transported to SP Clarence and processed. The 17-year-old was released, and Anderson was then transported to Buffalo Police Central Booking.
