Troopers arrest a school bus aide for Sexual Abuse 1st degree

New York State Police announce the May 20^th, 2024, arrest of Nicola Loguerico, age 76, from New Hampton, New York, stemming from an incident on a Minisink Valley Central School District bus.

On May 16, 2024, Investigators from the SP Greenville Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) (Orange County) were notified by Minsink Valley Central School District Administration of an incident involving a Loguerico, a Bus Aid for the School District and an 8-year-old female victim.  Investigation by the State Police BCI revealed that Loguerico, had been inappropriately touching the victim over the course of the past week.  Loguerico was arrested on May 20, 2024, for Sex Abuse 1^st, a D-Felony, and arraigned in the City of Middletown Court where he was remanded to Orange County Jail with Bail set at $5,000 Cash / $10,000 Bond.  Loguerico is to reappear in the Town of Wawayanda Court on May 23, 2024.
