Traffic Stop in Lewisboro Leads to Arrest for Drug Possession

On June 5, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Troopers assigned to a multi-agency proactive patrol detail conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 684 in the Town of Lewisboro for violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Christopher T. Vinson, 43, of Bronx, NY.

During the investigation, the vehicle was searched with consent from the operator, resulting in the discovery of approximately 137.6 grams of mushrooms, 10.5 ounces of cannabis, and other drug paraphernalia.

Vinson was arrested and charged by Somers BCI Investigators with the following offenses:

• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree (A felony)
• Two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree (A misdemeanors)
• Unlawful Possession of Cannabis – More than 3 ounces or 24 grams (violation)

Vinson was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lewisboro Court on June 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
