On April 19, 2025, State Police of Wappinger arrested Andrew D. Madarish, 31, of Staatsburg, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
Alicia L. Lickteig, 40 of Wappinger Falls, NY was also arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance/Narcotic and Criminal Use Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
The arrests stemmed from a traffic stop conducted on Taft Avenue in Poughkeepsie, NY, after troopers observed a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado committing a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Madarish and the passenger as Lickteig. Further investigation revealed Lickteig to be in possession of felony-weight narcotics.
Madarish was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Poughkeepsie Court on May 3, 2025, at 09:00a.m.
Lickteig was released under the supervision of probation and scheduled to reappear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court on May 5, 2025, at 09:00a.m.
