On November 20. 2024, the New York State Police Troop K Community Stabilization Unit and members of Troop T arrested three subjects for illegal weapon possession on Interstate 87 in the town of Coeymans.
At approximately 6:55 p.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 Honda Pilot for violations of the vehicle and traffic law on I-87. The operator, Jordan T. Gray, age 25, of Bronx, NY, was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Further investigation found Gray and his passengers, Christopher R. Gray, age 39, of Schenectady, NY, and Danielle Brown, age 26, of New York, NY, were in illegal possession of a loaded Taurus .40 caliber PT940 handgun and brass knuckles.
Jordan and Christopher Gray were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree, a class C felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, and Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a class E felony. Danielle Brown was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree, a class C felony, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a class E felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
All three subjects were arraigned before the Honorable Judge Eissing of the town of Coeymans Court. Jordan Gray and Danielle Brown were remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. Christopher Gray was remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
