Teen arrested for 3d printed weapons

On February 3, 2026, the Community Stabilization Unit with Troop A Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested an 19-year-old in the city of Buffalo, NY for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree- 2 counts (D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree- 7 counts (A Misdemeanor).

On February 3, 2026, Community Stabilization Unit with Troop A Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team with the assistance of Buffalo Police Department, Niagara Falls Police Department and HSI executed multiple search warrants on two locations in the city of Buffalo resulting in the seizure of a 3D printer, 3D printing filament, 6 lowers, 2 extended magazines, an upper slide, and trigger mechanisms.

The suspect was processed at SP Buffalo and transported to Buffalo Police Lockup for centralized arraignment.
