State Route 434 in Owego reopened following serious crash

Update: State Route 434 in Owego has reopened after a serious crash this morning.

Original Press Release: State Route 434 near Forest Hill Road in the town of Owego is CLOSED in both directions.  

If this is part of your route for morning commute, please take an alternate route.  

Troopers and first responders are on scene for a serious crash and 434 is CLOSED in both directions during the investigation.  

A detour is set in place which takes motorists onto Marshland Road.
