On November 11, 2024, at approximately 2:21 p.m., troopers from SP Dundee responded to Main Street in the village of Dundee for a report of a physical domestic.
An investigation revealed that during the domestic dispute, Michael Hoke, age 40, of Dundee, NY, allegedly threatened the victim with a pair of scissors, then took his shirt off and attempted to suffocate the victim.
Hoke was taken into custody and transported to SP Dundee for processing. Hoke was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd: Previous Conviction (D Felony), Unlawful Imprisonment 1st (E Felony), Criminal Contempt 1st (E Felony), Menacing 2nd (A Misdemeanor), and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (A Misdemeanor). Hoke was taken to Yates County Jail for CAP arraignment.
