State Police in Troop G make notable DWI arrests 12/1-12/6

On December 1, 2023, at about 1:28 a.m., State Police of Princetown stopped a vehicle on I-890 in Rotterdam, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Michael G. Roma, 32, of Schenectady, NY.  Roma was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Princetown for processing, where he recorded a 0.19% BAC.  Roma was issued tickets returnable to the Rotterdam Town Court on December 21, 2023, and released to a sober third party. 

On December 1, 2023, at about 4:35 p.m., State Police assigned to the Northway Interstate Patrol responded to the reports of a one-car crash into the median of I-87 in Moreau, NY. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Stacey A. Miller, 60, of Cohoes, NY.  Miller denied injuries and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. She was transported to SP Wilton for processing, where she recorded a 0.20% BAC.  Miller was issued tickets returnable to the Moreau Town Court on December 20, 2023, and released. 

On December 1, 2023, at about 7:52 p.m., State Police of SP responded to the report of a one-car crash at the intersection of State Route 40 and County Route 17 in Granville, NY. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Dawson R. Severie, 21, of Fort Ann, NY.  Severie, who was uninjured, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Granville for processing, where he recorded a 0.21% BAC.  Severie was issued tickets returnable to the Granville Town Court on January 8, 2024, and released to a sober third party. 

On December 3, 2023, at about 10:18 p.m., State Police of Sand Lake stopped a vehicle on I-90 in North Greenbush, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Sabrina Tedesco, 45, of Averill Park, NY.  Tedesco was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. She was transported to SP Sand Lake for processing, where she recorded a 0.17% BAC. Further investigation discovered Tedesco had had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years. She was issued tickets returnable to the North Greenbush Town Court on January 30, 2024, and released to a sober third party.
