State Police in Troop G make notable DWI arrests 11/22-11/30

On November 22, 2023, at about 10:06 p.m., State Police of Brunswick stopped a vehicle on Main Street in Wynantskill, NY, while conducting a stationary sobriety checkpoint. The driver was identified as Sakil T. Eason, 40, of Troy, NY.  Eason was arrested for Driving While intoxicated.  He was transported to SP Sand Lake for processing where he recorded a 0.20% BAC.  Eason was issued tickets returnable to the North Greenbush Town Court on December 12, 2023. 

On November 25, 2023, at about 5:00 p.m., State Police of Princetown stopped a vehicle on State Route 5 in Glenville, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Joshua H. Harris, 41, of Schenectady, NY.  Harris was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Princetown for processing where he recorded a 0.26% BAC.  Harris was issued tickets returnable to the Glenville Town Court on December 5, 2023. 

On November 26, 2023, at about 11:31 p.m., State Police of Greenwich responded to the report of a one-car crash into a utility pole in the area of Main Street in Argyle, NY. The driver was located nearby uninjured and was identified as Gary T. Odonnell, 59, of Greenwich, NY.  Odonnell was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Greenwich for processing, where he recorded a 0.18% BAC. Odonnell was issued tickets returnable to the Argyle Town Court on December 19, 2023. 

On November 30, 2023, at about 12:09 a.m., State Police of Wilton responded to the reports of an unconscious driver in a running vehicle stopped in the roadway on Ballard Road in Wilton, NY. The vehicle was located, and the driver was identified as Patrick L. Clifford.  Clifford was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Wilton for processing, where he recorded a 0.20% BAC.  Clifford was issued tickets returnable to the Wilton Town Court on January 2, 2024, and released.
