State Police in Troop G make notable DWI arrests 10/5- 10/10

On October 5, 2025, at about 2:46 p.m. State Police of Wells stopped a vehicle on State Route 8 in Lake Pleasant, NY for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Joseph A. Mosso, 66 of Amsterdam, NY. Mosso was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Mayfield for processing where he recorded a 0.16% BAC. Further investigation discovered Mosso has had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years. He was issued tickets returnable to the Lake Pleasant Town Court on November 12, 2025, and released.

On October 5, 2025, at about 9:01 p.m. State Police of Fonda stopped a vehicle on State Route 5 in Glenville, NY for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. When Troopers approached the vehicle, it fled, and a Vehicle Pursuit was initiated. The pursuit continued into the City of Schenectady but was terminated by the Trooper due to public safety concerns. The vehicle was located unoccupied a short time later on Lansing Street in Schenectady, NY. During the investigation the driver was identified as Raymel S. Diaz, 31 of Schenectady, NY and it was determined a child under the age of 15 was located in the vehicle during the attempted traffic stop and subsequent pursuit. At about 9:29 p.m. Diaz was located in a vehicle nearby where he was arrested for Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child (Leandra’s Law), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. Diaz was transported to SP Princetown for processing where he refused to provide a sample to determine the drug content of his blood. He was then transported to the Schenectady County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. The child and adult passenger involved in this incident were not injured.

On October 9, 2025, at about 2:41 p.m. State Police of Granville responded to the report of an intoxicated driver in the area of Slocum Avenue in Granville, NY. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Tiffany M. Sanders, 36 of Whitehall, NY and the investigation determined a passenger under the age of 15 was located in the vehicle she had been observed driving. Sanders was arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child (Leandra’s Law), and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was transported to SP Granville for processing where she refused to provide a sample to determine the alcohol content of her blood. Sanders was issued tickets returnable to the Granville Village Court on November 4, 2025, and released.

On October 9, 2025, at about 10:05 p.m. State Police of New Scotland responded to a one-car crash off the roadway of I-90 in Albany, NY. The driver was identified as Joseph M. Natalie, 24 of Wynantskill, NY.  Natalie was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Latham for processing where he recorded a 0.23% BAC.  Natalie was issued tickets returnable to the Albany City Court on October 29, 2025, and released.

On October 9, 2025, at about 11:18 p.m. State Police of Wilton stopped a vehicle on Saratoga Road in Moreau, NY for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Eric R. Duell, 36 of South Glens Falls, NY. Duell was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Wilton for processing where he recorded a 0.27% BAC. Duell was issued tickets returnable to the Moreau Town Court on October 22, 2025, and released.

On October 10, 2025, at about 1:50 a.m. State Police of the Capital stopped a vehicle on I-787 in Albany, NY for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Clare Brady, 42 of Albany, NY. During the investigation Troopers discovered a glass smoking device containing drug residue in Brady’s possession. Brady was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. She was transported to SP Capital for processing where she recorded a 0.08% BAC. Further investigation discovered Brady has had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years. She was issued and appearance ticket returnable to the Albany City Court on October 29, 2025, and released.
