State Police Seek Public’s Assistance Locating Missing Clay Man

The New York State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Alexander J. Thornton, age 33, from Clay, NY.

He was reported as a missing vulnerable adult on September 7, 2025. He was last seen on September 5, 2025.

Thornton is described as 5’10” tall, approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, black shorts, and a black baseball cap.

He may be operating a 2008 black BMW M6, New York registration LFX3223.
