On December 2, 2023, State Police of Fonda arrested Shane R. Wolf, 35, of Scranton, PA, for Criminal Possession of Cannabis in the first degree and Criminal Possession of Cannabis in the second degree.
On December 2, 2023, at about 10:30 a.m. Troopers stopped a vehicle at the rest stop of I-90 in Amsterdam, NY for a Vehicle and Traffic Law Violation. The passenger and owner of the vehicle was identified as Wolf. Further investigation discovered more than ten pounds of cannabis and more than two pounds of concentrated cannabis in the vehicle, reportedly belonging to Wolf. The drugs were seized, and the driver was released.
Wolf was arrested and transported to SP Fonda for processing. Wolf was arraigned at the Mohawk Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
