On September 22, 2024, at about 5:32 a.m. Troopers responded to the report of a motorcycle off the roadway of I-87 in Queensbury, NY. The motorcycle operator has been identified as Rodrigo A. Borges Da Silva, 41, of Fort Ann, NY, who was declared deceased at the scene. The investigation determined the motorcycle was southbound when it failed to navigate a curve, left the roadway, and struck a delineator, causing him to be ejected and sustain severe injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
