State Police investigate a farm tractor accident in Victor

On August 14, 2024, at approximately 2:37 PM, troopers from SP Canandaigua responded to an incident in which a tree fell on a male subject on Willis Hill Road in the town of Victor.

When troopers arrived on the scene, they discovered a 68-year-old, Richard M. King, was deceased on his tractor. A preliminary investigation revealed that the male subject was clearing brush when a tree struck him. The Ontario County Coroner responded to the scene.

The New York State police were assisted by Victor Farmington ambulance and fire department.

This is an ongoing investigation.
