State Police investigate a burglary in progress in the town of Oswegatchie

On April 29, 2025, State Police members arrested Brain J. O’Marah, age 42, of Ogdensburg, NY, for burglary 3^rd, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7^th, and criminal mischief 4^th.

On April 29, 2025, at approximately 2:20 a.m.,Troopers responded to State Route 37 in the town of Oswegatchie for a burglary in progress complaint. An investigation determined O’Marah entered Ivy Ridge when he did not have permission to be in there and was damaging property by cutting copper pipes.

O’Marah was arrested and transported to SP Ogdensburg for processing.  He was arraigned in the City of Ogdensburg Court, where he was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.
