On November 13, 2024, State Police of Princetown arrested James R. Parker, 26, of Cobleskill, NY, for Robbery in the first degree, Kidnapping in the second degree, Assault in the second degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree, and theft of services.
Nicole Zielinski, 50, of Cobleskill, NY, was also arrested for Robbery in the first degree and Theft of Services.
On November 13, 2024, at about 3:50 a.m. Troopers received the report of a Robbery that had just occurred. The investigation determined Zielinski and Parker were being transported by a taxi in Schenectady, NY when Parker allegedly held the driver at knifepoint against their will. During the incident, they reportedly stole money from the victim and caused them minor injuries.
Zielinski and Parker were identified during the investigation, and at about 7:00 p.m., State Police attempted to take them into custody at their home in Cobleskill, NY. After a brief standoff, both were arrested without incident. The pair were transported to SP Cobleskill for processing and then brought to the Schenectady County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
