State Police arrest three following investigation into property stolen from Salem
Press Release

On July 9, 2024, State Police arrested Garrett T. Bard, 30, and Michelle Quintana, 48, of Middle Granville, NY, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the third degree.

On July 17, 2024, Jeremiah D. Little, 37, of Middle Granville, NY, was also arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the third degree, two counts of Criminal Contempt in the first degree, two counts of Aggravated Family Offense, Reckless endangerment in the second degree, and numerous Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

On June 30, 2024, at about 8:45 p.m., Troopers received a complaint from a Salem, NY, resident reporting multiple items, including a camper, utility trailer, and two All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), had been stolen from their property.  During the investigation on June 9, 2024, Troopers located the reportedly stolen items on a property where Quintana and Little are known to reside. While at the location, Troopers observed Quintana riding on an ATV operated by Little illegally on State Route 22 and Bard in a trailer attached to the ATVThe vehicle fled the area recklessly when they observed Troopers but returned shortly after being operated by Bard without any passengers.  That ATV was determined to be one of the stolen items.  Bard was taken into custody.  A search of the area located Quintana in the woods, where she was also taken into custody.  All stolen property was recovered and seized.

Bard and Quintana were transported to SP Greenwich for processing and then turned over to the Washington County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

The continued investigation revealed an active court-issued stay-away order of protection against Little, which listed Quintana as the protected party. In addition, Little has had a previous conviction for a Family Offense in the last five years.

On July 17, 2024, State Police members located Little concealed in his home and took him into custody. Quintana was also located in the home, which resulted in the additional violation of the active court-issued stay-away order of protection.

Little was transported to SP Greenwich for processing and then transported to the Washington County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
