On November 17, 2023, State Police of Princetown, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, arrested Malachi X. Fennicks, 19, of Schenectady, NY, for Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “D” felony, and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” felony.
Fennicks is accused of promoting and possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation. His arrest followed an investigation that stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Fennicks was transported to SP Princetown, where he was arrested and processed. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Schenectady City Court on November 28, 2023, and released.
