On May 5, 2025, State Police arrested Patrick M. Walsh, 63 of Nassau, NY, for two counts of Grand Larceny in the third degree, two counts of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree, and Scheme to Defraud in the first degree.
On April 16, 2025, at about 12:13 p.m., Troopers received a fraud complaint. The investigation discovered Walsh allegedly defrauded multiple victims from August 2024 until February 2025 while in Schodack, NY. During these incidents, Walsh reportedly would collect money from the victims in exchange for a variety of items ranging from recreational vehicles to concert tickets, but never delivered the promised items. His actions resulted in the collective theft of more than $20,000.
Walsh was arrested at his home and transported to SP Schodack for processing. He was then arraigned at the Schodack Town Court, where he was remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility without bail.
