State Police arrest Glenville man for Menacing following road rage incident

On July 30, 2025, State Police of Latham arrested Andre G. Cobb, 55 of Glenville, NY for Menacing in the second degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth degree.

On July 20, 2025, at about 5:09 p.m. Troopers responded to the report of a road rage incident where a handgun was displayed. The investigation determined during a road rage incident on I-787 in Watervliet, NY Cobb allegedly displayed and pointed a handgun at another individual involved.

Cobb was arrested at his home and then transported to SP Latham where he was processed. The legally possessed firearm was seized during the investigation. Cobb was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Watervliet City Court on August 12, 2025, and released.
