State Police arrest Eagle Bridge woman following investigation into March White Creek crash

On May 9, 2025, State Police of Greenwich arrested June A. Hommel, 59 of Eagle Bridge, NY for:

• Vehicular Assault in the First degree, a Class “D” felony
• Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated
• Numerous other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations

On March 9, 2025, at about 6:54 p.m., Troopers responded to the reports of a one-car rollover crash off the roadway of Ash Grove Road in White Creek, NY.  The driver was identified as Hommel. Hommel and the passenger sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to Albany Medical Center where they were admitted for treatment. Further investigation discovered Hommel allegedly had a 0.25% BAC at the time of the crash.

Hommel surrendered herself to SP Greenwich, where she was arrested, processed and released. She is scheduled to appear at the White Creek Town Court on May 15, 2025.
