State Police are investigating an ATV fatal in the town of Hardenburgh

On November 16, 2024, at approximately 3:33 p.m., troopers from the Kingston barracks responded to an ATV collision on Dry Brook Rd in the hamlet of Arkville in the Town of Hardenburgh, NY.  

The preliminary investigation revealed that an All-terrain vehicle was traveling southbound on Dry Brook Rd in the town of Hardenburgh. The operator identified as David Sidorenko, age 55, of Rochester, NY failed to negotiate a curve causing the All-terrain vehicle to subsequently strike a cluster of trees.  Sidorenko was ejected from the All-terrain vehicle and was transported to Margaritaville Memorial Hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
