State Employee Arrested For Falsifying Overtime Records
PRESS RELEASE

On August 26, 2024, after a joint investigation by the New York State Police and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), Raymond T. Bergin, age 63, of Yorktown, NY, a Maintenance Supervisor for NYSDOT, was arrested for falsely claiming over 180 hours of overtime he did not work.

Bergin was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, a class D felony and Falsifying Business Records in the 1st degree, a class E felony.

He was arraigned before the town of Somers Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear on September 16, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.
