St. Regis Falls male arrested stemming from a domestic

On May 18, 2024, State Police members arrested Robert M. Lavair, age 36, of Saint Regis Falls, NY for criminal contempt 1st.

On May 18, 2024, at approximately 10:04 a.m., Troopers responded to Conger Road, Saint Regis Falls, NY for a physical domestic.  An investigation determined Lavair and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation which turned physical when Lavair kicked open a door, causing a mirror to shatter, cutting the victim.  The altercation continued and Lavair struck the victim in the face.  The victim was provided medical care for a small laceration of the finger.  Further investigation determined a complete stay-away order of protection was in place to protect the victim.

Lavair was arrested and transported to SP Malone for processing.  He was arraigned in the Town of Dickinson Court where he was remanded to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
