Ardsley, NY – On February 10, 2024, at approximately 5:25 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the village of Ardsley for multiple vehicle and traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle, Frankln Agualsaca Caiza, 28, of Spring Valley, NY, was found to be intoxicated while traveling with two children in the vehicle, ages 1 and 4 years old. He was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Tarrytown. The children were turned over to a relative.
Agualsaca Caiza’s blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.10% and was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child in the Vehicle; a Class E Felony, Driving While Intoxicated; an unclassified Misdemeanor, and 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child; a Class A Misdemeanor. He was turned over to a third party with appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Ardsley Court on March 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
