Plattsburgh male arrested for criminal mischief 3rd, assault 3rd, resisting arrest, and obstruction

On July 30, 2024, State Police members arrested Lee A. Goodrow, age 42, of Plattsburgh, NY, for criminal mischief 3rd, resisting arrest, obstruct governmental administration 2nd, and assault 3rd.

On July 30, 2024, at approximately 8:33 p.m., Troopers responded to Spellman Road, in the town of Beekmantown for neighbors fighting at the Stonehelm Motel.  An investigation determined Goodrow and the victim were involved in a verbal argument which turned physical when Goodrow attacked the victim and would not leave the property.  Goodrow was placed under arrest and while transporting him he unbuckled his seatbelt.  When the Troopers attempted to get Goodrow buckled again, he started being aggressive towards the Troopers and not listening to commands.  During the altercation with the Troopers Goodrow damaged items inside of the patrol vehicle.

Goodrow was transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing. Goodrow complained of head pain, so he was medically evaluated and released.  Goodrow was arraigned in the Town of Beekmantown Court where he was remanded to Clinton County Jail without bail.
