New York State Police Pursuit Ends in Rochester; Three Taken into Custody

On February 7, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m., the New York State Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 2024 Audi passenger car traveling eastbound on the New York State Thruway I-90 in the town of Batavia.  The vehicle operator failed to comply, and a pursuit was initiated.  The vehicle continued onto I-490 east. The New York State Police terminated pursuing the vehicle as it entered the city of Rochester.  New York State Police Aviation continued to monitor the pursuit, and the vehicle ultimately stopped on Arnett Blvd near Genesee Street in the city of Rochester, where three occupants were taken into custody. 

The City of Rochester Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the Greece Police Department, and the ATF assisted with this investigation.Charges are pending, and additional information will be released in the future as this is an active and ongoing investigation.
