The New York State Police investigate a murder for hire of a County Judge

 On April 25th, 2024, State Police Investigators from SP Canandaigua BCI, Troop E VGNET (Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team) and SIU (Special Investigation Unit) arrested 21 year-old Alexander Kise, of Greece NY, currently incarcerated in Ontario County Jail, and 22 year-old Alydia Gater, of Greece NY, for Attempted Murder 1st  (A-I Felony) and Conspiracy 2nd (B Felony), and Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance 5th (D Felony).

The State Police investigation revealed Kise and Gater conspired to hire a third party to murder the Ontario County Court Judge and Ontario County Assistant District Attorney who were presiding over Kise’s criminal case for which he is currently being held on. There was an additional Conspiracy 2nd charge for Kise and Gater conspiring with others to kill the victim in that case.  The drug charges are a result of Kise and Gater using approximately $1,750.00 worth of Xanax as payment for the killing.

Both Alexander Kise and Alydia Gater were processed by State Police and transported to Ontario County Jail for centralized arraignment. 

An additional 16-year-old juvenile was charged with Attempted Murder 2nd (A-1 Felony) and Conspiracy 2nd (B Felony), was processed at SP Canandaigua and taken to Ontario County Family Court for arraignment.
