*Media Advisory* Media Advisory: Identification of Human Remains in 2011 Cold Case

The New York State Police will hold a press conference on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Troop E Headquarters, 1569 Rochester Road, Canandaigua, NY 14425. 

Officials will provide an update on a 2011 cold case investigation, including the identification of human remains.

Speaker will include Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker accompanied by Captain Kelly Swift of the Troop E Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and Lieutenant Joshua Greenman of the Special Investigations Unit. 

Media outlets are invited to attend in person. A question-and-answer session will follow prepared remarks.
