Marcellus woman arrested for DWI

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, at about 1:42 a.m., State Police in Elbridge responded to a one-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Thompson Road and Devoe Road in the town of Camillus.

A preliminary investigation revealed, a 2022 Honda driven by Bridget M. Mitchell, age 25, from Marcellus, was traveling north on Thompson Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Devoe Road. Mitchell proceeded to drive off the roadway and struck a tree.

While interviewing the operator, Mitchell showed signs of intoxication and an odor of alcoholic beverage present.  She was subsequently arrested for DWI and was transported to SP Elbridge for processing. Mitchell recorded a .21% BAC and was charged with Aggravated DWI.

Mitchell was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Camillus Court for a later date in July.
