On Saturday, March 21, 2026, at approximately 2:50 a.m., New York State Police in Rhinebeck were dispatched to a reported unauthorized use of a vehicle in the Village of Rhinebeck. Troopers located the unoccupied vehicle on East Market Street and the suspect, identified as Issac S. Iselin, 37, of Hyde Park, New York, in the area where he was taken into custody.
An investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Rhinebeck (BCI) determined that Iselin burglarized a family member’s home, utilized a vehicle without consent, and stole several items from within the residence before being taken into custody.
Iselin was charged with the following:
- Burglary 2nd, a class C felony
- Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle 1st, a class D felony
- Grand Larceny 4th, a class E felony
- Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th, a class E felony
- Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th, a class A misdemeanor
- Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor
Iselin was arraigned in the Town of Rhinebeck Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center in lieu of $50,000 cash, $100,000 bond, or a $200,000 partially secured bond.
