On October 26, 2025, New York State Police members arrested Joe L. Maldonado, age 41, of Plattsburgh, NY, for Grand Larceny 4th degree.
At approximately 3:01 p.m., Troopers responded to Woods Falls Road in the town of Altona for a report of a larceny. An investigation determined that Maldonado had been employed by Humble Homes Property Management Inc. and had been issued a company credit card for work purposes. Further investigation revealed that Maldonado used the company credit card to make unauthorized purchases totaling $1,118.22.
Maldonado was arrested and transported to SP Champlain for processing. He was arraigned in the Town of Chazy Court and released on his own recognizance.
