On September 19, 2024, State Police members arrested Alexander C. Johnson, age 24, of Gouverneur, NY, for grand larceny 3rd, and petit larceny.
On September 19, 2024, at approximately 5:44 a.m., Troopers responded to US Highway 11 in the town of Gouverneur for a stolen vehicle complaint. An investigation determined Johnson stole a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD from a residence. The vehicle was found in Cortland, NY, but Johnson was not with the vehicle at the time. Johnson was located by the SP Homer Troopers and relayed back to Gouverneur.
Johnson was arrested and processed at SP Gouverneur. Johnson was arraigned in the Town of Gouverneur Court and released on their own recognizance.
