Domestic dispute in Malone leads to arrest

On June 8, 2025, State Police members arrested Traci L. Thomas, age 55, of Malone, NY, for assault 3^rd and resisting arrest.

On June 8, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Troopers responded to State Route 30 in the town of Malone for a report of domestic dispute.  An investigation determined Thomas, and the victim were involved in a verbal argument which turned physical when Thomas threw items off a coffee table and later overturned the coffee table onto the victim striking the victims nose cause a large laceration.

Monroe EMS arrived on scene to medically evaluate the victim which later was transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center to receive medical treatment.

Troopers were giving Thomas commands as she was being arrested but she was refusing.  Troopers were able to detain, arrest, and transport her to SP Malone for processing. She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Malone Court for a later date in June.
