Concerned citizen calls 911 resulting in an arrest for Aggravated DWI

On March 4, 2024, Troopers out of SP Fredonia arrested Addam V. Tofil, 35 of Sheridan, NY for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicate and other Vehicle and Traffic infractions.

 On March 4, 2024, at 4:54 P.M., Troopers responded to an erratic operator 911 call on State Route 20 in the town of Sheridan. The vehicle was located and stopped for traffic infractions. While interviewing the operator, Tofil, an odor of alcoholic beverage was present and was placed under arrest after failing SFST’s.

Tofil was transported to SP Fredonia for processing and recorded a .24% BAC.

Tofil was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Sheridan Court for a later date in March 2024.
