Central Square woman arrested stemming from a domestic dispute

On November 22, 2024, State Police arrested Casey A. Preston, age 33, from Central Square for:

Criminal Contempt 2nd degree (class “A” misdemeanor), Custodial Interference 2nd degree (class “A” misdemeanor), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (class “A” misdemeanor), and Obstructing Governmental Administration (class “A” misdemeanor).

On November 21, 2024, State Police received a complaint on November 21, 2024, Preston had taken a 11-year-old child from their residence in violation of an active court order. Preston further actively obstructed NYSP investigators in their efforts to locate the child. 

Preston was transported to Oswego County Centralized Arraignment and released on her own recognizance.
