Burglary Investigation Leads a Felony Arrest in Schuyler County

On March 22, 2023, the New York State Police in SP Montour Falls responded to a reported burglary at a residence located at 1889 Meads Hill Road in the town of Dix, Schuyler County.

The investigation revealed that a safe inside the residence had been forcibly opened, resulting in the theft of multiple firearms and an estimated $450,000 worth of gold, silver, and U.S. currency.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, Jeffrey A. Arcangeli, age 59, of Burdett, NY, was charged with the following:

• Burglary 2nd (C Felony)
• Grand Larceny 2nd (C Felony)

Arcangeli was processed and arraigned in the Town of Dix Court. The investigation is ongoing.
