On February 26, 2024, Troopers arrested Jared M. Lashway, age 35, of Altona, NY for false personation and issued vehicle and traffic tickets.
On February 14, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Troopers observed a white 2011 Subaru Outback traveling on State Route 11, in the town of Ellenburg with a brake light out. The Trooper initiated a traffic stop, interviewed the driver, who could not provide a photo identification card. The driver provided name and date of birth. Further investigation determined the driver provided a false identification at the time of the stop.
Troopers located Lashway, arrested, and transported him to SP Plattsburgh for processing. He was released on vehicle and traffic tickets and an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Ellenburg Court for a later date in March.
